These Terms govern your access to and use of SketSong.com, a song development management system for songwriters. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy and the Payment & Refund Policy.

This is an operational policy for the current version of the SketSong service. It may be updated as the product, its providers, or applicable legal obligations change.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using SketSong.com, you agree to these Terms. You also acknowledge the Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is handled, and the Payment & Refund Policy, which governs payments and the limited circumstances in which a refund may be considered.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the service.
2. Service operator and contact
SketSong.com is operated personally by Putu Adi, an individual based in Badung, Bali, Indonesia. It is not currently operated through a separate incorporated company or other legal entity.
Contact details are listed at the end of this document, and the operator can be reached at support@sketsong.com.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use SketSong.com, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. The current version of the service does not offer a parental consent process, so it is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
4. Description of the service
SketSong helps songwriters manage the development of their songs. It organizes the workflow, structure, metadata, versions, and relationships behind a song as it moves through Ideas, Projects, Demos, and Releases, and it provides a Player for listening to your own work and a storage integration that connects your own Google Drive.
Releases catalog your final masters and released works.
SketSong is not:
- a digital audio workstation (DAW)
- a recording studio
- a music distributor
- a replacement for professional recording
Professional recording can take place entirely outside SketSong. SketSong keeps the resulting work organized and connected.
5. Accounts and authentication
Signing in currently uses a magic link sent to your email address. Additional identity providers may be offered in the future; if and when they are, they will be visible in the sign-in screen.
Authentication of your SketSong identity and authorization of your Google Drive storage are two separate things. Signing in to SketSong does not connect a Google Drive, and connecting a Google Drive does not change how you sign in.
You are responsible for:
- keeping access to the email address used to sign in
- the security of any account you connect to SketSong
- activity that takes place through your account
- providing accurate account information where it is requested
Please do not share access to your account with anyone who is not authorized to use it, and let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
6. Google Drive integration
You may connect a Google Drive account so that your audio is stored in storage you own. The Google account you connect for storage may be different from the account or email address you use to sign in to SketSong.
SketSong requests limited Google Drive permissions covering files that are created by or used with the application, rather than unrestricted access to everything in your Drive. This is described in more detail in the Privacy Policy.
You remain responsible for your own Google Drive, including:
- the security of the Google account you connect
- your available storage capacity and any Google quotas
- file and folder permissions
- keeping the files you want SketSong to reference available
Because your audio stays in your own Drive, disconnecting that Drive, revoking access, or deleting, moving, renaming, or restricting files in Drive can make media unavailable inside SketSong and can break playback or the references SketSong holds. SketSong cannot restore files it does not store.
7. Your content and ownership
You keep ownership of your content. Your lyrics, recordings, audio, artwork, notes, metadata, and other original material remain yours. SketSong does not claim ownership of your songs.
You grant SketSong only the limited permission necessary to operate the service for you: to store, process, organize, display, and play your content as part of the features you use. This permission exists so the product can function, and for no other purpose.
You are responsible for having the rights necessary for any content you upload, connect, or manage through SketSong, including content created with other people.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SketSong to:
- store, process, or distribute unlawful content
- infringe the intellectual property or other rights of anyone else
- commit fraud or misrepresent who you are
- upload or distribute malware or other harmful code
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
- abuse payment systems, including manipulating refunds or chargebacks
- circumvent plan limits, entitlements, or other technical restrictions
- interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the service
- impersonate another person or organization
- harm other users, our providers, or the infrastructure the service runs on
9. Plans, trial, and subscription access
The plans that are available, and what each one includes, are described on the Pricing page. Different plans carry different limits, such as how many Google Drive accounts can be connected.
A free trial does not automatically convert into a paid plan, and SketSong does not charge you automatically when a trial ends. To move to a paid plan you must complete a separate checkout yourself.
After a paid entitlement expires, creation or use of certain gated features may be limited according to the current plan rules. Existing content may remain available subject to the service's current entitlement behavior.
10. Payments
Prices are shown before checkout, in Indonesian Rupiah. Any applicable transaction fee is shown before you confirm a purchase.
Payments are handled by a payment provider, currently Duitku, or another provider disclosed at the time of purchase. Payment details such as card numbers, CVV codes, PINs, and online banking credentials are entered with the payment provider. SketSong does not store them.
SketSong does keep records of the transaction itself, such as the plan you selected, the amount, the provider reference, the payment status, and the resulting subscription state. These records are described in the Privacy Policy.
Where paid checkout is not yet available in the service, it will be offered only once it is enabled, and these Terms will apply to it when it is.
11. Payment finality and limited refunds
Payments are final and non-refundable once the purchased plan has been successfully activated and the service is materially available for use, except in the limited qualifying circumstances described in the Payment & Refund Policy or where required by applicable law.
SketSong does not offer a general money-back guarantee, and does not promise an automatic seven day refund right. Refund requests are assessed against the qualifying cases set out in the Payment & Refund Policy, which also explains how a request is investigated and what outcomes are possible.
Mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law are not affected by this section.
12. Service availability and changes
SketSong depends on services it does not control, including Google, Supabase, Hostinger, payment providers, and your own internet connection. Maintenance, provider outages, network failures, and events outside reasonable control can affect availability.
SketSong may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features over time. Where a change is material and it is practical to do so, reasonable notice will be provided.
The service is provided without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
13. Suspension and termination
Access to SketSong may be restricted, suspended, or terminated where there is:
- fraud or suspected fraud
- a threat to the security of the service or its users
- illegal activity
- a material violation of these Terms
- manipulation of payments, refunds, or chargebacks
- abuse of the service, its providers, or other users
Where it is reasonable and safe to do so, you will be given notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before access is restricted.
14. Account deletion
Self-service account deletion is not yet available in the application. Until it is, you can request deletion of your account by writing to support@sketsong.com from the email address associated with the account. Verification may be required before a request is processed.
Deleting your SketSong account does not delete the files stored in your own Google Drive. Those files remain in your Google account, under your control.
Some records, such as transaction, security, audit, dispute, or other legally required records, may need to be retained after deletion. How data is retained and for how long is described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Intellectual property of the service
The SketSong name, branding, interface, design, source code, and service materials remain the property of the operator and are protected by applicable law. Using the service does not transfer any of those rights to you.
You may use the service normally as a customer. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit the service itself beyond that normal use.
Your own content remains yours, as described in section 7.
16. Disclaimers
SketSong is a workflow and organization tool. It is provided as it is, and it is not guaranteed to be suitable for every creative, legal, tax, copyright, registration, or commercial purpose. It does not provide legal, financial, or rights management advice.
Because your audio lives in your own Google Drive, SketSong cannot guarantee the availability, integrity, or recoverability of files it does not store. Please keep your own backups of work that matters to you.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SketSong and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@sketsong.com so we can try to resolve it through good faith communication. Most issues can be settled that way.
If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be submitted to the competent courts in Badung, Bali, Indonesia. Mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law are not affected by this section.
19. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as the service develops. When they change, the Last updated date at the top of this page is revised, and where a change is material and it is practical to do so, notice will also be given in the service.
Continuing to use SketSong after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
